Will this slow down my EV charging or appliance or affect my experience?

Most of the time, no. The Stepwise Tap only reduces power when your home is nearing its safe electrical limit. When extra capacity is available, your EV charger or appliance runs at full power automatically.

What happens if I lose power or WiFi?

The Stepwise Tap is built for safety. Unlike software-only systems, it uses dedicated hardware, so even during a power or Wi-Fi outage it automatically acts as a fail-safe to protect your electrical panel. The device is backed by a warranty for added peace of mind.
